You can reserve your seat in the waiting line for $55.99 (eVic) or $59.99 (Subox).
The red and black version of the VapeCige VTBox200 is now available for pre-order at Fasttech. Unfortunately the PRICECONTROL coupon code (for a $45 discount) does not work with this version – only for the black/white one. Maybe this changes in the next day (hope so…). Edit: Coupon Code does not work anymore!
The black/white is ETA on 08/26! Looking forward 🙂
PS: RMBBUST for 5% off is still working @ FT!
The Hcigar VT 200 200W TC Mod in silver is now available for pre-order at Gearbest for only $117(.04) .. who knows why.. the black and blue one are still $174. Whatever, grab it! Haven’t seen it cheaper anywhere so far.
… aaand it’s gone. They corrected the price back to $174 a few hours ago. Maybe it was a typo 😉
Pretty boring day yesterday and today on the vape front. One noteworthy new article on Fasttech is some 304 and 316 Stainless Steel Resistance Wire. You can use them either for Temperature Control (in case you have an adjustable TCR like the SXK Nebula has) or also as an alternative to Kanthal.
You can grab (or better pre-order) your chtulhu rta v2 from Smogdistro.com now. They’ll get 500pcs so be quick to reserve your place in the line.
PS: smog are the good guys and highly active on Reddit.
Gearbest does it again… right after the pre-order period, the article is cheaper than it was in pre-order.
I got mine today, machining is great. So far so good – haven’t vaped it a lot to do a conclusion. I like the clicky airflow ring 🙂
Not a lot going on today on the vaping market, but this Penny 150W TC looks really interesting. The 510 might be raised, not sure about the chip. Need to do a bit more research here.
The size seems to be great. Not sure if I have seen a dual 650 mod that’s only 86.5mm in height!
In case you prefer Gearbest over FT, with the Coupon Code VCVTB200 you can get the VTBox200 for $120 at Gearbest
The Deviate clone 60W TC is available now for $49.00 at 3FVape.com!
So, there was a review about the deviate from GrimmGreen and the machining was… lets say not that great.
Now there is a clone out there from FT which is 60W TC and maybe a bit better. Who knows, lets give it a try:
See GrimmGreen reviewing the original one:
Finally, the Pioneer4You IPV D2 starts shipping at Fasttech. The product pictures on FT show that it will come with the sleeve (at least 99% of the time, FT pictures show what you’ll actually receive).
About stepdown: You might have noticed or read in several forums that the IPV D2 does NO stepdown in power mode. This means that it puts out always at least the nominal battery voltage. In case you have a .5 ohm coil and set it to 7W, the Mod will show around 1V but in fact there are >3.7V.
This is a bummer for low wattage vapers as well as for proper breaking in coils. But there is a workaround:
The D2 IS capable of stepping down in Joule (Temperatur control) mode. It switches from DC to PWM there. So take your kanthal build, switch to TC mode, set the Joules to your desired wattage (Joules = Watts with YiHi chips) and just to be sure: maximize the temperature.
Temperature protection will not kick in as kanthal does not change its resistance.
Originally the confusion was there because most shops just stated “Output voltage: 1.0V-7V”. In fact it is:
- Output voltage: 3.6V-7V (Power mode)
- Output voltage: 1.0V-7V (Joules mode)
Maximum resistance in TC mode should be .3 ohm. Tests show that the mod does not bother at all. You can vape your .5 ohm builds in TC mode as well and so far it has not kicked out of TC.
Pioneer4You fixed this now – but not for the D2 but with the release of an updated IPV D3.
